It always amazes me, everytime there is a CC thread here, naive/ignorant people come out of the woodwork.

I always expect this place to be a little wiser than your avg sampling of americans, this being a tech board and all, but then threads like this show me otherwise.
Sadly, I'm sure this thread is wiser than the average sampling of Americans. If average Americans were in here posting about their thoughts on credit cards, I'm pretty sure I would have shot myself in the face by page 3.

It is amazing how ignorant so many of you are about credit cards.

With my CC, I get free access to VIP lounges at airports, loss insurance (if I lose something I buy within 90 days, I get all my money back), free 1 year extended warranties, my cc pays for inflight snacks and meals, on average about 2-4% in value cashback when I transfer my points to airlines for free flights (like a free vacation every other year), free concierge service, top tier status at all car rental places which gives me free upgrades, and many many other perks.

You guys are badmouthing credit cards but we're going on free vacations, sitting in airport lounges, upgrading our tickets to first class for free, and driving Benzes for rental cars.

You can have your Chevy Cobolt rentals and sitting in coach with all the teenagers in cramped seats eating mystery meat on a 6 hour flight.

Sorry, you guys are ridiculous.
