how do you partition a hard drive?

basically, i have a forty gig hard drive? how do i partition it into two 20 gig drives?

If you already have Windows installed, Partition Magic is a good way to go. If not, then use FDISK. Hope this helps.

How do you make an F-disk? and what is it?

Go into DOS (the black screen with a command prompt (if you are using 98 just hit the start menu and restart in DOS mode, if using ME you need a startup disk))then type fdisk and follow instructions
