How do you overclock the Soyo SY-P4I865PE Plus Dragon 2 V1.0 ?

I just would like to set the fsb to 166 for a cpu/memory bump.

What is that CPU+33 thing? I'm only used to overclocking AMD processors as this is a Celeron D 325.

If you are changing the FSB timing to 166 MHz you are underclocking and the the mobo will not POST and you will have to reset the CMOS (been there done that). I changed my FSB timing to around 225-227 and raised my v core to 1.6 volts which gave me a CPU speed of 3.8 MHz (from a stock 3.2 MHz CPU). I tried changing the RAM timings but things got unstable that I decided to go back to stock timings on my RAM and FSB. I could have backed off on the FSB timing but I just didn't want to and now ever thing is back to stock.

Good luck on your OCing endeavors. I found out the Soyo boards are not very good at OCing but are very stable at stock settings.

I have a celeron d 325 in mine (actually I gave it to a niece) running at stock which is a 133 fsb. I tried to give it a 166 fsb boost to 3.15GHz but it wouldn't stay. I recall no bios adjustments to up the vcore or a fsb/mem ratio to untest the memory I have in there. Can you direct me to the location of your vcore adjustment? Do you have a ratio adj. as well in your bios?

Yeah I cant adjust vcore on my soyo either. But I do need to flash my bios for SP2, so maybe that will open as well....

I have a SOYO P4VTE, and can't find a way to change the VCORE. I can see it in the bios, but it is Greyed-Out like it is locked or something. Anyone know of a program or a way I can change the VCORE on this mobo? I am trying to fix World of Warcraft which has problems if the VCORE is too low (I read on a forum) Any help is appreciated

Thanks,
K
