How do you open an Imac?

I had never used a mac in my entire life until about 5 days ago when i go hired at a mac computer store. I have to open an imac g3 to replace the battery, but it won't open. It seems stuck in the front under the monitor. Do I need to pry it open or what? Or is there an easier way to change the battery?
Edit: It's an Imac g3 500mhz.

I did one once and I had a hell of a time too. There are a lot of little screws hidden all over keep looking.
