How do you OC your RAM?

I'm running an A7V in a Tbird 800. However, i'm still using my old 128MB pc100 el-chepo ram back from my K6-2 300 (over 2 years old now). I want to try to overclock this ram to see how high it can go, but i'm not sure how I can do this. I want to see if i can get it to CAS2 and PC133. But in the BIOS, i don't see a selection to change the RAM frequency (it only states its PC100), and the CAS timing are greyed out so i can't change them. How do i change these? Thanks

They are greyed because you have to set the option ABOVE your latency settings in the BIOS...
It's in your MANUAL! READ MAN! 😀

I actually just overclocked mine last night!
143Mhz Cas2!

Besides OCing for it's own sake, does OCing the ram improve overall performance?

And I think I've gotten my ram to OC on my K7v. Seems like it says 7ns(143) and below three "2's" I'm resuming this the CAS thingy 😛

Take it easy on me folks, me still learning 🙂
