I got this card for about 2 weeks now and i don't really know how to do a optimal overclock on it.

On the box it says it has all kinds of OC-centric features, but i boot up MSI afterburner i can seem to do anything that CCC allows me to do.

Except for that controll over the 3 voltages, core, memory and auxi.

But im really scared to touch those and i can't seem to find a good guide for this card.

How do you increase the OC limit,it looks to be maxed out at 1050 on the core and 1500 on the memory .

And finally how do you go about testing the clocks, i have OCCT instaled, how do i go about testing my clocks with that ?

Thanks in advance :)

Get Unigine Heaven and loop that, if its stable, your OC should be good.

As to how to OC, i always recommend getting: Sapphire Trixx

Much better (less bloatware) than Afterburner.

Thanks alot zayd, i have another question, is 1.21 V supposed to be the stock voltage for my board,it seems kinda high.

Btw i just maxed out the CCC overclocking limits and after 1 h of OCCT no errors, 54 Celsius ... it must be factory overvolted right ?

1.21v is pretty high for default. 1.2v is usually the vcore required for ~1.2ghz. have a look through the huge 7850 OC thread for comparisons.

Thanks,so this factory overvoltage is something good or bad ? Temperatures range between 32 - 55 celsius...im thinking i have a lot of headroom for higher OC's no ?

But what about the lifespan of the card ?

1.25v sounds about right. Temperatures sound great. I think you'd be better off asking in the 7850 thread as owners know best.
