how do you NET SEND to a specific computer in specific workgroup?

wondering how you send a message to a specific computer on a different workgroup?

net send /domain:workgroup "message"

would send "message" to everyone in 'workgroup', but I need a target machine

...works if "computername" is in the same workgroup, which is not what I'm asking for

I'm talking about sending a message to a computer in a different workgroup.
