how do you name your digital camera files?

I take about a hundred pictures a day on my digital camera and it's a pain when I name them. I basically right click on each file --> rename file--> and type in the name i want after I click on the file to see what it looks like. Is there a good program that displays the picture, prompts for a name, and moves on to the next one automatically? It would save me a lot of time as well as prevent carpal tunnel syndrome.

001.jpg, 002.jpg, 003.jpg, etc.. 🙂

I use PaintShop Pro to browse or Windows View as WebPage to preview images. Saves me a ton of time this way

personally, I make a new folder on the desktop exclusively for photos. right click the new folder/properties & check enable thumbnails then open the new folder & under view choose thumbnails. putting any photos in will then show them as thumbnails for easy visual identification!
