As the title states. Any help would be good since I am a newbie to overclocking. ;)

don't know that board myself but some frag tape(double sided sticky thermal tape) may just be what you're looking for. wouldn't advise you to try using thermal epoxy as that would cause problems if the borb fan failed!

Would the blue orb fit right on top of the northbridge? And how should I remove the old heatsink on the northbridge chip? Any help would be appreciated, thanks! :D

Like bacillus said, you could use frag tape. But if you want to use the mounting clips that come with it, you'll need to enlongate the holes all the way to the end. Make sure you lap it too they're not very flat.

Linkage

This is the guide I used for my KT7A RAID. It worked pretty well, and I'm guessing it should be about the same for your board...

Thanks for the tips guys! :D

ZoSo, so I take it that lapping it would require the basic process of going from low numbers (course) to high numbers (fine) sand paper? ;)

whalen Thanks for the link. I'm reading it now. :D

Any other advice? ;)

Yes, I actually had to start out with 120grit on one of them it was so out of whack.

Does the Blue orb help at all? It looks pretty cool, but it also looks pretty poorly disigned.

ZoSo: Whoa, that bad? Hmm..I might not want to use the blue orb anymore... ;)

HL: Actually, I don't know if the Blue Orb helps at all. But from my past readings, apparently it does help if you intend to overclock since the Northbridge chip gets hot when you oc.

The blorbs work very well, especially if you use arctic silver compound.
