Say I have a server and a backup server just in case the first server goes down. How do you get the same contents in the backup server database as in the db of original server at any time?

thx

This is the wrong forum, but I think it really depends on the database. Soem databases have these kinds of features built in, some dont.

I hope you're not talking about the highly technical forum, because that's the wrong one, too. I would say your best bet would be the networking forum.

Software is the forum for it, and where it was originally posted. Aspects of the discussion could go over into networking (VPNs between locations), but there is absolutely no reason for it to be in OS, in my opinion ;)
