How do you manage XP user account?

What I mean is, I want to have an account that has limited access, but there's a program that needs to write to the HDD (ie Warcraft 3 when log on to Bnet). How can I give permission to Warcraft 3 or such program to access the HDD, while still enforcing the read only on the rest of the account? Thanks
