?

Do something on the side = invest in stock (profiting, obviously), owning a website, selling on ebay, stuff like that.

nothing but side jobs here and there.... computer repair, car detailing... stuff like that. I just got a hookup on wholesale pricing for (IMHO) the world's best motor oil that I might use to make a buck with the local car clubs.

I'm working on getting a real job soon too. I'm going to pick up something for a couple of months and apply at NASA for an ME internship.

I was thinking about this the other night. Income generating hobbies. Something you enjoy that can turn a profit, even if it's a few bucks a month. I got to thinking about a few different website ideas I've been tossing around in my head for awhile now. Not the next YouTube or anything, just a couple sites geared towards my local area. How much traffic does a site need before you can start to generate a noticeable amount(couple hundred bucks a month) in ad income (adsense, etc)?

I work part time, and make money on the side gigging at parties. (most of the time it's for food though)

1) software engineer.
2) On the third home I'm doing work on (second new kitchen) .... if we sell this one and move, I'll have a $400K-$500K with no mortgage once I buy the next home.
3) income oriented investor (3.1% yield on my portfolio, but I'm 30)
4) options trader.

Future:
5) I might become a land lord ... still debating this in my head.
