How do you make audio run through an hdmi mini cord from a 480gtx

just as the title states. I have a gtx 480 hooked up through hdmi. I know hdmi can run audio also so how do i make it run audio. I hope that makes sense.

Plug it in to your receiver? Have you tried it yet?

Set the graphics card as the primary sound device in your sound control panel. I think that should be all you need to do.

so theres not special cord I need to make it work. i though the graphics card needed to be hooked up to the motherboard through a 2 pin cord.

That was only with GT200/G92 cards
