I have hypertension which is high blood pressure. I need to get it lower. I also have food allergies. I've eaten these foods for my entire life. Things such as kethcup which I use with almost everything I now have to cut out completely. I mean I know if I want to live to an older age I should listen and do it. However, how in God's name does one make a complete 180 from what they're eating to only eating say lettuce, baked chicken, and a banana everyday for the rest of my life?

1) Willpower
2) You've convinced yourself that your diet will be uninteresting and you'll hate it
3) Doctor's are not necessarily the best cooks and probably have no idea what you'll like eating
4) It sounds like YOU don't have any idea what you'll like eating
5) Embrace this experience and be grateful for it, consider it a challenge to find something you'll like.
