How do you make a coffee-house style mocha?

I've got the equipment, now I just need the recipe! I want to make a good mocha at home and not have to wait in line for 10 minutes every time I want something other than a cup of coffee.

I've also got a good espresso blend from a local roaster (Alterra), but I need to know what else I need as far as ingredients.

Thanks!

I don?t know about mocha, but what I do sometimes is brew strong coffee, and then add some sweetened condensed milk and ice cubes. I guess you could also add chocolate.

The name Mocha comes from the ancient port, of the same name.
The 2 main sources of coffee traded by the Ducth were Mocha, and Indonesia (Javaland) and hence a blend of the 2 coffees was called Mokka-Java.

What any coffee house means by Mocha now days is anyone's guess as that port has long since closed, and the coffee species grown there originally has changed to more modern coffee plants. It could be a similar type Coffee, such as an Ethiopian Harrar, or any old coffee with some chocolate added, or even just artificial chocolate powder they make a drink with.
