i have an athlon xp 2200+... and just thinking of o/c'ing it... but i don't think i'd get very far with it cuz i'm pretty sure it's a revision A... i got my system around 6 months ago...

anyways, i tried increasing the FSB from 133 to only 140 and my system won't even boot... i have an MSI mobo... KT333 chipset... would it help if i lower the cpu multiplier? if so, how do i do that?

assuming the processor is unlock... you just change the jumpers or dip switches or change the number in the bios just like you were raising it, but lower it instead

Most older boards do it with jumpers, while most newer ones do it in the bios settings.
