How do you loop the Quake3 Arena Demo?

I have the DEMO of Quake3 Arena. I want to loop an all night time demo so it keeps going by itself. How do I do this?

copy this and save it as democycle.cfg in your baseq3 directory

Set D1 "demo demo002; set nextdemo vstr D2"
Set D2 "demo demo001; set nextdemo vstr D1"
vstr D1


Then at the console type

timedemo 1
exec democycle

it will run until you hit the escape button, when you stop it you will have to use the "page up" button on your keyboard to scroll back through the junk to see the frames per second.

I actually posted this when the compkill demo came out and I included it in the cycle, if you have compkill or any other demos you want to add take a look at the original post (from october/1999 😀)
