How do you look at your driver version already installed?

According to everything I find (steam hardware check, device manager etc) it shows 8.791 drivers for my HD 4850, which doesn't match with the 10.XX number that I downloaded(it's been a long while since I updated the driver so I don't remember which one it was), so how do you match them up?

Pulled this from google images.
The 10.x refers to CCC version--- date of the software suite

The new look 10.12 CCC version looks like this
open CCC and click information/software on the left column

Ah I didn't download the CCC just the driver itself...thanks

Windows device manager shows the version # thats listed next to driver packaging version.
This example that is part of the 10.12 complete ccc install would identify under windows as driver version 8.801
