opens trunk
sets keys inside of trunk
closes trunk
oops

This presumes that the trunk pop does not unlock the doors.

maybe?

If you have a advance system like onstar wouldnt it be a given to have keyless? Do they sell cars with onstar and no keyless?

is the kind of car that has the number pad on the outside of just th ekeyfob thinger that locks/unlocks your door?

if its the keyfob, same thing as locking your regular keys in the car.

Stop car. Start fiddling around with someone. Open car door. Hit lock button. Step out of car. Close car door. Keys still inside.

duh....the blonde in the convertible with the top down....she could have thrown in the backseat when the car door was locked...

I usually lock the door using the lock button on the door handle when getting out, even though I have keyless entry. You can still do that while the keys are in the car - don't necessarily have to always use the remote button to lock.

Good reason not to keep a cooler full of beer in your trunk. 😱

ahh ok, didnt know people manually lock their doors when they have a keyless entry, pardon my ignorance.

IIRC, on most of the cars equipped with factory keyless entry, the driver door won't lock if it is open and you push the lock button on the FOB...

If I close my driver side door while it's locked, it automatically unlocks. I have to lock it with the remote.
