how do you link to a news story?

hey, I want to be able to link to news articles, but yahoo links always break after like a week or something. is there a more permanent archive of news or should I just capture the whole page and host a mirror and link to that instead?

hahaha "real news" oh man thanks i needed a laugh...

thanks for the tip bootprint. I'll look into that. I guess hosting news forever would eventually take a crap load of space... oh well it's not news forever!
