Being tired of my sblive value and wanting something new, I decided to upgrade to an Epox 8RDA+ since everyone is raving about how good the sound is. But to my surprise, listening to my favorite cd's with my grado 80's, I can't believe how bad the audio is. Everything sounds so flat and dull compared to the sblive. Is there a way to make it sound better?
 
I can't say for certain about the Epox nForce board, but my Asus A7N8X sounds great. There are a few things I don't like with the nVidia drivers (speaker setup for one) but I feel it sounds every bit as good as my old SB Live. It's a shame epox doesn't have a forum on their site. I've got a lot of good info for manufacturer forum sites (I guess that's why your here!) 🙂
