How do you like your Asus P4PE or Gigabyte GA-8PE667ULTRA?

I actually will have both of these boards in hand tomorrow. I just need to decide which one to keep. I got the P4PE version with JUST lan becasue I do not need all the bells and whistles. I have a Highpoint Raid card that I will be using. I don't need firewire or the Gigabit 1000 mb nic. I ordered from a new company (for me-nmicropc.com) and I got nervous on if they would come through or not. I usually order through Newegg, but when I was ready to order, they ran out. (Now they have them again...) So I ordered a Gigabyte board from Newegg (I personally have had good success with both, my preference is Asus.) The Gigabyte comes with all the bells.

Now, the hard part, which one do I keep? They actually both cost the same. I will likely have either one only until Granite Bay hits.

I will be running a raid setup on 2 Western Digital special edition 80 (8mb cache) with a P4 2.4b 533 and 1 stick of Corsair 512 mb 3200 xms cas 2.

What do you all think? Let me know how your new PE boards have turned out so far.

So far I like the P4PE a lot. I'm running lots of tests right now and I'll let you know more when I've finished.

Great! I will likely start with that one. I do not like what I have read about the Gigabyte board and the memory problems. I am partial to Asus anyways.

Let me know your results when they are ready! I will set mine up tomorrow and give you my results as well!

I'm not a fan of my 8PE667 Ultra. It gives me a reboot issue with my 2.26 at anything over 2.8 Ghz, even though it can prime95 at those speeds forever. This problem was apparent with my 8IEXP also. I have tried the chip at 2.82 in an Asus p4b533-E without any problems, and I have an Asus P4PE coming. So I shall keep you guys updated.
