I am not sure you can train yourself to do this. I just happen to naturally eat this way. I always eat small meals. This is not on purpose, I just get full really quick. Then two hours later, I have to eat again. I snack alot too.

my father lost 40lbs in six months due to eating less, just sheer willpower. He said that you feel hungry for the first 1-2 months then it gets better.

Donno if this is true, but I heard that it takes your Brain abt 15-20 min to realize that you are not hungry anymore...So make sure you do not gobble down your food and make your meal last at least 20 min... This will help you not to stuff yourself...

It gets better after the first couple of weeks. I have been doing this for about 5 months now and have lost 25 lbs without exercising.

I made a conscious decision about 3 months ago to start eating less. It will be hard at first, but the longer you do it the easier it gets.

It helps to not keep any snacks on hand, so if you want to eat something you have to prepare it. Then when you do go to prepare something, only make enough to make you satisfied, not full.

Your body will adjust...you need to just do it for a while and (smaller meals...eat more often). After a while, you will barely notice it.

Basically what he said. I dunno about the eat more often part, depends on how far you take that I guess. If you're moderate about it though, you should be good.

That is the problem, his body is absorbing way too much food. We want the body to absorb less. If he actually ate so much fiber that absolutely no other food was eaten, then yes that is a problem. But I think most people get about 1/10th the fiber that is recommended. And about 1/20th of what could be very useful.

THere's a time delay between when you're actually full and when your body tells you you are. Eat slower and drink water.
