I have a Voodoo 3 3000 agp that I cant get to work on any games anymore.
How do I know if its dead or another problem? It works fine in windows and surfing the net etc...but as soon as I launch any games now it is screwed up bad. It has tears in the screen and flashing light to dark etc...Quake 3 starts then goes black screen but I can see the hud display a bit....
every game crashes , so does windows media now.
I have tried everything ...drivers different versions of direct x etc....
I wanted to save this card for my kids but....
Is it possible its another problem? seems video related but when they freeze or crashe the sound is stuck too.
I dont have agp on our other comp to try it out either...
any suggestions?
I have tried it on win xp me and even win 98 now...with the old 1.04 steady drivers...no luck.
