How do you know if your AMD cpu is a Tbred or Barton

You've got a T-bred B 2100. They've never made a 2100 Barton.

I guess that means you also didn't know it's one of the better overclocking T-bred B's, huh? You might want to give it a shot (overclocking), before you upgrade. There are quite a few people on this very forum who've got theirs running between 2.2-2.4ghz.

The die size/shape is a good indicator. The Barton die is a longer rectangle due to having twice the L2 cache as Thoroughbred.
