I guess that means you also didn't know it's one of the better overclocking T-bred B's, huh? You might want to give it a shot (overclocking), before you upgrade. There are quite a few people on this very forum who've got theirs running between 2.2-2.4ghz.:D

The die size/shape is a good indicator. The Barton die is a longer rectangle due to having twice the L2 cache as Thoroughbred.
