We've been having a problem with a lot of gnats/very small flies in our kitchen this past week.

We found the problem with a rotten bag of potatoes in the pantry, but theres still so many of them flying around the kitchen and they are too damn fast for my hands.

Is there something I can hang in my kitchen to kill them, or fly bait, or something?? Suggestions please! Flys piss me off so much! :|

Shotgun.

Seriosly, leave out a glass of wine. At the end of the day, you'll find a million flies floating in it.

I've never had any in my house, but the ones outdoors seem happy to kill themselves. I put on sunblock, go biking for a few hours, and sometimes I end up looking like a peppersteak.

You could try putting sunblock on and then bike through your house until they're all stuck to you.

Check more for the food they're attracted to. I had a bunch of flies before I took out the garbage and noticed a couple orange peels at the bottom that they loved. They won't go away instantly either so if you just got rid of those potatoes give it some time.

bah i was just swatting them on my own, getting them whenever i could. i think i'm down to two in my kitchen, since new ones keep popping up. we don't keep food out anymore, and i'm trying to make sure the lid stays closed on the garbage, but it's not helping. i just need the summer to leave.

my bf set a "trap" by leaving out a banana and some PB, and then spraying the suckers with raid when they went for it.
