I have wires going everywhere and it looks like dookie, I want to clean it up but don't want to use ugly "Bread-ties" any suggestions?

Updated 2/3/05: I have finished with basic cabling and now am going to buy 2 rounded IDE cables. I have no FDD, so I don't need a rounded FDD cable. Check out my site and tell me if it looks ok.

White pull ties, I tie it to the side rails of the case on the left side of the case, so they are very hard to see. This only works well if you have long cables.

I actually find round cables are not as clean looking as flat anymore.

just gotta fold the flats the right way.

even regular PSU cables (power) are livable, part of the nice looking is having everything routed nicely, just having everything rounded out, and leaving the cables untidy in the case, is not as nice looking IMO.

This is a more recent breakthrough discovery for me though :p

LOL :) I ran cables under mobo, used sleeved PSU, and black plastic cable ties which are worth their weight in gold.

Don't expect to do it in 5 minutes. It takes a lot of time and usually several trys. Go to some sites and look how others have done it. Last resort buy a weed eater.

I had a mess-o-cables in my system until recently. I bought a PSU that had enough connectors for my 6 HDs, 2 optical drives, vid card and fans, and all the cables were sleeved so it really cut down on the clutter. Got rid of all my Y cables. Also, since I did this, my case temp dropped nearly 15F.

The inside of my chassis is chaos.

That's why I don't have (and don't want) a side window.

I have no IDE cables in my system at all. Even the ATAPI optical drives use a SATA converter and SATA cables.

You can buy a sleeving kit for like $10

You can buy a kit to modularize your PSU also.

Wrap the large power supply wires in sleeves.
Run floppy and IDE cables under the motherboard and fold them.
