How do you keep track of holiday online purchases?

Since thursday, I've made about 20 separate online purchases.
The ones from Amazon and Newegg are easy to remember since they are large, well-known vendors that I use often so it's easy enough to check previous orders. But the less frequent vendors like Staples, Best Buy, Gearbest, etc. I would lose track of and forget about if they never arrived if I didn't use a spreadsheet.

So what's your method?
Spreadsheet? Email?

I used to use gDocs (i.e. spreadsheet), but now I use GTD. My particular implementation is Todoist > Shopping folder > "Incoming Orders" list. I order stuff from Gearbest/DX/Tomtop/etc. that sometimes takes like 3 weeks to arrive on the slow boat from China & it's easier to just add it to the list & then check it off when it arrives. Copy/paste the tracking # into the notes for each item, if needed.

Oddly enough, this has been the cheapest Christmas I've ever done thanks to online shopping. Already got everything ordered, the half that has arrived has been wrapped, and I got better & cheaper stuff thanks to either Amazon or the Chinese sites like Tomtop. Also the first time I've ever been done a whole month early & not doing 2-day Prime shipping the week before Christmas

I don't order enough to need any special tracking, so primarily I just take unread order confirmations in gmail and drop them into a "purchases" folder. Once the item arrives I mark the email as read.

I move all of my online order emails to a folder that I called Orders.

I don't have that many orders, so Google Now's Package Tracking card has been sufficient.

I just click on the Google Search Bar, click the card, and see the package statuses. If any package was ever supposed to be delivered according to Google Now and I don't have it, then I would contact the store. But that hasn't happened to me yet. Of course, this assumes you have the stores email to email addresses that Google can search.

Don't really have more than 4-5 orders cooking at once. And rarely order from anywhere but Amazon and Etsy. So .... no problemo here.

Write an e-mail to yourself:

Amazon
Giant dildo, tracking link
Dragon dildo, tracking link
Lube, tracking link

Best Buy
VR goggles, tracking link

You get the idea.

If it comes, it comes. I don't bother wasting time tracking anything. I place nearly one order a day from Amazon as it is. So I expect packages almost on a daily basis. I like the surprise of not knowing what I'l get that day.
