leave them in the bag, unopened.

Chips never survive in the same house as me for more than 24 hours though, so it was never a problem.

I have seen this thing called Eurosealer(spelling?) on late night informercials for $20 or so. It hermentically seals bags using a battery powered electric heater. (AC Adapter optional)

If the chip bag is opened already, we take the bag the chips came in, roll it up and place it in a sealed ziplock bag and keep it out of the light.

They keep their taste for two weeks before the stale flavor starts to creep in.

you can keep your whole room airtight by making it into a vacuum then no matter where you leave the chips, it'll still be fresh. And if you have marshmellows, it will be twice as big as before!

Eat them. I've tried various methods, such as containers, not very effective, about a week max.

Same here...and if there's a tub of salsa or guacamole to go with those chips, they wouldn't last an hour

Just eat one bag at a time so you don't have a bunch of chips laying around. :)

I just fold the bag a few times and clip it up. Works pretty well... atleast for a few days. Chips tend to disappear pretty quickly.

what about a tight rubberband sealing the bag it came in:) most cheap/effective if slightly annoying method.

Easy fix...put a slice of bread in the bag. The bread will soak up the moisture, keeping the chips from getting stale. It works, trust me. :)

Ah yes...as you're Asian, I assume you have rice in the house...put a handful of grains in the bag and they should soak up all the moisture keeping your chips fresh :)
