i've already installed win2k, so my chances of using the f6 option are long gone. how else can i install the drivers from within windows?

thx

Guessing here, but hows about going to device manager and seeing what it is showing in "scsi and raid controllers" if anything is shown there just right click to properties left click on the drivers tab and click on update drivers, you'll know the way from that point.

dolphins is correct. that's the only way to do it. the F6 option is only there in case your installing a fresh win2k on a hard drive that is actually on that controller, in which case you need to load the controller drivers before hand. if you have a working win2k, then the controller should just show up in device manager and you can just update the drivers from there.

quad you did it perfectly that question mark was telling you it had no clue what you wanted from it and you just gave it the drivers that it needed so your problems solved. good luck
