How do you identify an unknown webcam?

I have this generic USB webcam my friend bought for like 25$, but lost the driver CD for. There are no markings of any sort I could use to find it, and windows sees a "generic USB camera".

how the heck do I figure out what it is? It there like, a "generic camera" driver?
