how do you hook up computer speakers to a tv

I have a Sony Wega 27 and Id like to hook my logitech speakers 560s to the TV. I want to listen to music and I want to hear better sound when using my xbox. Is this possible????? And if it is how???

Your tv should have an rca audio out (2 plugs, one red, one white). Find a cable to converter the stereo connection(computer speaker's wire) on the speakers to rca. That should do it. Radio shack might be your best bet in finding the rca to stereo. The wire may be hard to find.

One part of the cable will have male rca connections, hook that one to tv. The converter, well i havent seen one, but then again i have not really looked for one.


Also, this may be more expensive than the wire, but they make a cable selector switchs that have a headphone jack. I have a sony one that does that i got from best buy for $20. The cable selector is really a splitter for multiple rca/s-video connections.

it's a common Y cable that you're looking for..two RCAs (male) into a single stereo (female) connector. You can goto Radioshack or meijer. Home Depot probably carries them too.
