How do you hit someone and then drag them for 8 miles?

He prolly thought the thing that was changing the tire was an oversized rat or something, j/k. Most Likely, he knew what he hit but was too paralysed from fear to actually stop until he got home.

Just sad, any way you slice it.

With an SUV.
Being a drunken motherfvcker also helps.

More reasons for kneecapping drunk drivers as part of their convictions.

Galdino was held without bond Sunday on charges of manslaughter, driving while intoxicated and felony hit and run. Arraignment was scheduled for Monday morning, said police spokesman Terry Williams.

That's really too generous. Should be worse.

blaming the suv falls in line w/ the "american way." it's never the fault of the person causing the problem, it's always something else. 8 miles.. geesh, hopefully the death was swift for that poor guy.

Yep, a better punishment would be something like chaining his ass to the back of a speeding SUV and drag him for 8 miles.
