Who keeps porn when it's free on the internet?

QFT. I used to store porn until I realized I would never look at the old porn, I would always just go find new stuff.

well now comes another questions, what do you do in order to prevent/get rid of all the sh!t you get while getting new stuff?

z:\\192.168.1.1\shared\home\stuff\<porn>

edit: 192.168.1.1 is my linux box which also contains a 120 gig hd for a file server using samba.

I've also got a lot of other stuff on there. (hd is about half full)

swap drive / with a program called "Hidden".
I t removes the folder from view within windows, you can only access the folder useing this program and it is password protected.

No normal person ever has their hidden system files visible. Also, if I'm not mistaken, whenever you perform file searches, it doesn't search hidden system folders. 😉

Huh?!?!? Why the fvck not? I thought it was common knowledge that on any Win98/NT4/2k/XP system, the first step after logging in was to reverse all the checkboxes on the view settings since the defaults are so braindead and annoying. And file searches DEFINATELY search system folders, maybe they just don't search for you because you're one of the wierdos that keeps them hidden.

again...he refers to NORMAL people. Not GEEKS.

for those putting it (hidden/nonhidden) directories, what's the point of hiding them since someone can run a basic search/find for movie files...

Password login, passworded hidden folder, dig three folders deeper, then search through all the folders convincingly named, windows, system32, temp, etc. If you get in & are lucky, I might have a file or two there. Otherwise, it will just be a text file telling you where to look for the dvd backups.

-------------------------

hmm how do you assign passwords to folders?

Hmm ... It's occupying space on these drives.
E drive labelled "200GB"
K drive labelled "200GB"
O drive labelled "200GB"
Q drive labelled "100GB"
R drive labelled "100GB"

Not hidden.
No-one else uses this PC except for me.
Also, people are generally intimidated by it and won't attempt to mess with it since I've got a Dvorak keyboard on it.

That's only true for pics. But if you have DVD rips, then its a whole different story.

/me is thankful. Plenty in passworded compressed files, with the extension renamed.
Porn on dialup?! Can you imagine how aggravating that would be?

I was thinking about making a website so guys could store their porn online, give them like a gig for free, and then you wouldn't have to worry about storing it on your harddrive...looks like the idea wasn't too bad considering some of the stuff you guys do to hide it.
