How do you have your audio volume set?

Do you have your Windows volume control 50% and control the rest with the speaker remote or do you have both all the way up?

Is it bad if you turn your speakers up when all software volume controls are maxxed out?

wave 100%, master 75%. control everything else with control on speakers.

i have my speakes' volume adjust to mid-high and use window's volume control since i have a logitech wireless keyboard with dial knob for volume control

Master set to max, use XMMS to control sound and some with the reciever. Don't know if it is bad to have both at max but seems unlikely. Especially because I am using the digital out on my soundstorm.

Windows volume is around 65/70%, rest of the control is done through the speakers.
