How do you hang picture frames on cement dorm room walls?

I want to get a couple of prints, may or may not frame them, but definitely want to be able to display them on my dorm room walls. Are there and devices or other ways to mount frames of prints? Thanks.

Liquid Nail, but they will never come off. A better way is to get a masonry bit and drill a pilot hole. Then insert an expanding screw. You can get it all at the hardware store.

I don't think the university would appreciate me drilling holes in their walls.

Then the only other option is to glue them to the wall. There's nothing else that will hold it to the wall.

Yup....
Masonry Bit & Expanders or Glue...maybe some strong tape, but that's going to be the same end result as Glue, making a mess out of everything. And not work as well.

Try that sticky tac stuff that looks like silly putty. That's what we used to do....chewy gum consistency and works really wonderful, not to mention it doens't leave any damage! I know it is blue and we used to get it at Staples...

That stuff doesn't do any damage?
Cool...
That stuff is great....my friends use it to put stuff up all over their houses...but we always rip stuff taking it down.
Maybe they just aren't careful enough with it.

I was under the impression it didn't come off very well, but I've never worked with it personally.

That stuff is great if it comes off without too much trouble.

3M makes adhesive picture hangers that leave no residue after you're done with them. The hanger has an adhesive on the back that you wet then press to the wall. After it dries it's very strong but you can peel it off like the stuff they use to attach credit cards to paper.

THANK YOU! I was trying to remember what that was! That didn't exist when I was in University.

As for the blue tacky stuff, no damage will be done to concrete walls! :p With others, it usually rips paint off....

What's your point? I've been using spackle since I was 15 and no I don't work contsruction and neither do my parents. It is exactly as Viper said, basic household repairs.

Do you actually want help, or do you just want to bitch as you normally do here?

The people who were bitching were the ones that came in here harassing me because I don't know how to do "normal household repairs".

you guys need to relax, not everyone here is versed in basic household repairs and not everyone is a construstion worker. it's like expecting all girls to know how to pump gas in their cars, and i'm being very serious about that.
