Their financing tips are downright idiotic though as is their "all car salespeople suck" attitude (yes, most do but not all, plus having that attitude doesn't win the rapport that you need to close that great deal). With the ridiculously low interest rates out there (below inflation), financing is free or actually better than free. If you're financing, absolutely do not put any money down unless the monthly payment is more than you can afford (at which point I'll think that you're buying more car than you can afford.). Finance for no more than 60 months. Expect to keep the car for at least 3 years, preferably 5.

There are at least a handful of 0% - 4.9% APR deals out there.
