How do you guys lap your procs?

Just wondering what kind of method you guys use to lap your processors. I have an old celeron 300A that I am going to lap and was wondering what was the best way to do this. I have heard of the figure eight, back and forth, side to side. What worked best for you? Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
