Watching the trailer, T3 looked like it was a super thrilling movie with lots of suspense.

The actual movie didn't seem that thrilling. The music that can create the mood, just wasn't there, the scenes weren't that suspenseful... I liked the movie, but it just wasn't what I was expecting. The ending seemed to come way too quickly. I was expecting more to happen, but it just ended. I did like the ending though, even if it seemed to come out of nowhere.

The trailer made the movie look really nice, but I am afraid that the actual movie was a disappointment. If you think about it, only one major thing happens, which didn't even need that whole movie. They could have just released part 4 and said in the beginning (like Starwars), that such and such happened on that day, and now this is the situation.

In part 3, they had to out do part 2. So everything that made part 2 good (the motorcycle chase, the police shoot out), they had to do those better in part 3. That made the movie kind of pridictable.

If the guy and the girl were supposed to be married in the future, how was this going to happen without the terminators intervention? I know that they had already met before the evil terminator came in looking for both of them, he was locked in a cage. So are we supposed to guess that she would have taken him out of the cage, and they would have falled in love and married?

We are told that somehow they would have met and eventually married. That was the whole point of their history of "making out" the night before Arnold showed up in T2. Destiny doesn't have to be that specific, I guess.

I didn't see the trailer, but I just watched T3 last night. Pretty good and definitely surprised me, since I was expecting it to suck because James Cameron wasn't involved in it.

Maybe it has to do with fate or something like that... personally I believe that everything happens for a reason, and that if something happens it was meant to happen. It may be delayed for some reason or another, but in the end, what was meant to happen will happen.

John met this girl right before the T2 movie. They would have got together then, but the terminator got involved and their being together was delayed. They were meant to be together, and that would not happen until this new terminator came and brought these two people back together again.

Well, truthfully, if you think about it, since johns father was from the future (first movie) then how could he have been born if they hadn't gone back to kill him?

My assumption (since i like the movies so much) is that basicly its the opposite of what johns mom said, "No fate but what we make" In reality it was all fated and even without their intervention it all happened anyways. I would say that orignaly john had a different dad and then when dude when back altering the timeline that he became john's dad instead of some other smuck. So each time you alter the timeline things change dramaticly, but there are certain things that are fated out no matter what. I.E. john being the leader, john marrying the girl.

So i would say that originaly they met much later on and became married, then when the TX went back and altered the timeline everything changed but they still got together because of fate, just in a different way than originaly planned.
