How do you go about OC'n an XFX R7850?

If that's what you want to try, yes that's it. It can monitor temps, fan speeds, set a custom fan profile, monitor voltage, memory usage etc. You can enable an overlay in your games with the clock speeds, how much memory it's using, what the gpu usage is, how fast the fan is running, your temps, and an fps counter.

Really a fantastic program.

I recommend running Uniengine Heaven DX11 benchmark in a loop. Just start it up and set tessellation to extreme and turn on AF and AA and let it run for a while. If it doesn't crash in that it's usually pretty stable.

Isn't the 78XX series suffering from the need to edit the .cfg file in MSI Afterburner's installation folder with that silly text, as well as the missing .dll files from Catalyst 12.4 onwards, that do not allow clocks to be freely changed?
