How do you get your music?

A mix between the iTunes Music Store and B&M shops. If iTMS doesn't have it I go to the B&M shops (or if the price is the same, I'd rather get the CD instead of just the digitized music).

I don't trust the file sharing programs anymore, since there are quite a few viruses there. So, I buy my stuff at puretracks.com from a Canadian site, since most other sites are only for USA. If anyone else know of any other Canadian music download site, let me know.

There's a chain of CD shops near me that has pretty good prices, and I buy from them. What keeps me from using iTunes is the lower sound quality of the audio. If I could download them at, say, 320 kbps max VBR or FLAC, then I might consider it, but I don't want to pay for inferior quality audio.

" Download By Other Means " gets you pretty much anything, I do my part and buy at least one or two cds a month retail though.

I got most of my music back in the napster and early gnutella days, and had also downloaded a fairly significant amount of music from mp3.com. Right now I'm not buying music; in large part because my interest level just isn't there at the moment.

I don't generally "get music," I just listen to it on the radio. Better things to spend my money on I guess, and I'm too lazy to steal it. :p

iTunes uses AAC audio format. According to alot of iTunes users that i know, 128Kbits/s AAC is the equilivent of a 320Kbits/s MP3.

I usually buy my CDs from wherever is cheaper.
I`d use iTunes, but put simply, its crap. Its buggy, i have to do a manual install to use it, Its a pain to transfer music to my iPod, amongst other various annoyances.
