how do you get windows to ask you what you want to do when you insert a CD?

all i want to do is have a music cd play automatically when inserted. how do you get that menu to popup that asks you what you want to do when a CD is inserted?

Go into Windows Explorer or My Computer and right-click on the CD drive icon, then select Properties from the menu that pops up. When the Properties screen comes up, click on the Auto Play tab.

EDIT: This is assuming you're using Windows XP...

Right click on the drive>AutoPlay tab>Prompt me each time to choose an action...
