How do you get the taste of vomit out of your mouth?

I dont think vinegar is a good choice, since whatever you throw up is very acidic, a baking soda + water mixture rinse might work better.

caustic lye or drano will work, but they are bad choices.

Try Tums or Rolaids - just chew them.

Is there anyone else who can shut off their sense of taste at will? I have this thing I can do that closes off the airways up into my nose and I can't taste a thing. I can hold it that way as long as I need to. I can also pop my ears at will, which I understand not everyone can do.

Uhh... yea dude, it's called breathing through your mouth. Taste requires smell. I don't think you'd be recruited by the X-Men for your mutant superpowers.

you're not supposed to brush your teeth after you throw up.... according to a former bulimic friend of mine, the acid in the puke breaks down (or something) the enamel on your teeth, brushing it in makes it worse.
