How do you get the smell of cigarette smoke out of something?

Just picked up a camera lens, bag, box, and paperwork from a guy for cheap, but the thing reeks of stale cigarette smoke. How do I get it out/off?
 
you really cant, but you can try to just wsh it and make sure you put cologne and stuff on around it, anything that you normally smell like will SLOWLY get it away, but it will still be there.
 
febreeze works wonders.. you'll be surprised.. put some on napkin like cleaner and clean the surface.. might have to do it 2 times but it should take the smell out.
