How do you get rid of these annoying "customized" IE browsers?

I tried installing IE 5.5 to get rid of it: didn't work. Restore old settings: "What old settings?" says my computer. So... is there anyway to get rid of the blight other than using another browser?

You'll also need to fdisk any CDROM drives you have installed.
