Whenever I start my computer and after it posts it's info I get a screen that lasts about 30 seconds that says "nvidia ide raid...blah blah ", while it's on those 30 seconds it says detecting array or something like that. How do I disable it since i'm not using raid. I'm on a Soltek SL-K8AN2E-GR

Thanks,
Tret

Look in BIOS, I'd guess in the "Integrated Peripherals" section. Disable sata/raid and it should get rid of the screen.

I looked at you mobo manual on-line. See the "Promise Function" in Integrated Peripherals. Select "Disabled".

Hmm... I dunno what to say other than try to disable it again. Maybe it didn't "stick" the first time?.

Can it be because that I have one my hd as sata and the other as a ide?
