Make a device that propels the batteries into flying objects of DEATH .. and have some fun with some squriells and pigoen .. or maybe some raccoons ...

In my department at work, we have a guy who does as much as he can for the environment. Every year he recycles batteries for just about everyone that works in the building. I just give them to him, and he recycles em.

10:61 for proper disposal 😱 I dispose them properly. Every store that sells them has to take them back by law so it's not an effort. I thought hardware geeks are more aware of toxic waste than the general population but apparently I was wrong 🙁

the only batteries i believe you need to dispose of properly (following MSDS standards) are li-ion batteries and the like. i'm pretty sure that regular C, AA, AAA, 9V, or D batteries can be tossed out in the trash, but maybe i'm wrong (i'm haven't read the battery recycling link as it's past my bedtime)

You are wrong but well, you're not the only one that thinks the small ones works by magic, not by chemicals... 😕 Not trying to insult, but educate yourself 🙂

i know i'm wrong. i saw what you wrote, but that i guess is the general assumption that most alkaline batteries can simply be tossed in the trash. i don't recall ever seeing any "disposal guidelines" on a battery package.
