How do you get asychronous memory/FSB speeds

I have an MSI P965 mobo that I'd like to overclock further but at 2.65ghz (~250mhz OC) my OCZ memory is already at 885mhz. I obviously can't keep pushing memory like that if I want to reach 2.8ghz or 2.9ghz
How do get memory speeds that aren't 1:1 with fsb speeds? My Mobo manual says nothing about overclocking and i don't see an option to unlink memory in the bios.

I purchased this mobo because Toms hardware gave it a gold award and said its good for overclocking. And recently Anandtech gave it an honourable mention in its year ending mobo roundup.

Thanks everyone :D

Err... Your RAM is already asynchronous... 2.65GHz with an E6600 is only about 295FSB. As far as I can tell, you are running your RAM at 2:3... Maybe you could look at your boards other RAM timings. It could be called something like RAM divider or system multiplier...

Thanks I'm a noob obviously. I was looking in the cpu section, never bothered to look under the advanced memory tab.
I thought though that fbs for a e6600 is about 1066hmz.

On a side note do you think 2800mhz or 2900mhz is okay to overclock on stock cooling? I should probably keep temps below 65 I'm guessing.

The stock FSB on an E6600 is 266 Mhz. If it weren't, you would have had to raise your FSB starting from 1066 Mhz, instead of 266 Mhz, to overclock. And yeah, ~3 Ghz is fine with the stock heatsink, as long as you have some case airflow, and you mounted your heatsink correctly.

Okay thanks for the info, I guess I'm getting 1066 from the fact that manufacturers always list the FSB in quad pumped mega transfers and not mega ouchies.
