I know that most on here are car people but would like to see and hear of what you use to get around...?

A car, truck, motorcycle, bicycle, skateboard, jetpack or just roll across the ground...?

Anything I left out just post it and thanks to all that reply and vote...

Car.. wish I lived in a city that understands to concept of public transit, hate all the costs of having 2 cars, would love for my wife and I to just share one cheap one and use the bus or a subway.

I've used car, truck, bus, motorcycle, and bicycle. Probably car, bicycle, and motorcycle the most out of those. I'd have to narrow it down to car overall though simply because it is the most efficient at hauling my carcass over long distances. I would also say that I've spent no small amount of time finding alternate ways of commuting shorter distances (less than 12 miles) by alternate means, and by that I mean cycling 10 miles to work 2-3 days a week by bicycle for 2+ years. I have owned a truck too and during that time I worked some 30+ miles away so I carpooled 3 days a week and then on Fridays I took the train down the coast and rode my bicycle in from there. San Diego is slowly becoming a city of alternate means of transportation and it is fairly bike friendly IMO.

My commute now is entirely impossible to do by bicycle even by mixing it with public transportation so I'm strictly car/motorcycle. If that changed by some miracle of modern planning I would definitely consider going back to the bicycle. I really loved it and on the worst traffic days it was actually faster than driving.

Personal vehicle is a car.

At work I drive all sorts of things. Everything from a Fiesta up to F-450 Super Duty cube trucks. Biggest thing I've driven is a GMC C7500 26' strait truck. That thing's a beast though.

I want to get a motor scooter to run errands around town. Planning on doing it next season. Gotta figure out the costs first though.

i have a jeep grand cherokee I dd.

I also ride my motorcycle, or if my wife is around we take her saturn astra

I am 2 miles from the office so I keep thinking about getting road tires for my mt bike and riding to work

I live a 1/4 mile walk from where I work (0.4mile drive), so I walk to and from through every season. I still have two cars with which to have fun :awe: and get groceries.

Depends

Bike ride to work most days
My neighborhood has most things within walking distance
Use my truck when I have to

Kinda surprised no one uses a scooter...? I see them quite often...?

Guess a skateboard is a bit to much work and can be rough on a laptop...
