How do you get a disc out of a thinkpad with no power?

My t40 refuses to power up after coming back from China and i have an important disc in there thats needed on saturday. I have the dvd drive out of the thinkpad but how exactly do you get the disc out?
 
there is a little hole usually by the eject button, stick a paperclip into it and it should releace teh catch
